Uppit or Upma is a quick, no-fuss breakfast that is simple and easy to digest. Made with rava (suji), it has a mild flavour and is very filling.  iPaaka Upma Mix is upma in its classic form, which means you have complete freedom to experiment with your breakfast. You could rustle up an easy Upma in less than 15 mins. You might also add onions, tomatoes and green peas to add a special punch.

Storage Instructions: Use a clean and dry spoon.  Refrigerating it extends its shelf-life by another 3-6 months.  

Ingredients: Roasted Semolina, Green Chili powder, Dry Ginger, Asafoetida, Chana Dal, Urad Dal, Cashews, Salt, Curry and Coriander leaves


  • Take about 400ml of water in a kadai and bring it to boil.
  • Once the water starts to boil, add 150g of iPaaka Uppit mix and stir it into a uniform mixture
  • Close the kadai with a plate or lid and cook it on a low flame for 5 mins
  • Enjoy with iPaaka Chutneypudi or iPaaka Sambar or coconut chutney. Serves 2

 Recommended: Add freshly grated coconut, Coriander leaves and ghee on top and serve.
